Vox Specto: Paprika →
voxspecto: Paprika is relatively sci-fi in nature. It develops a device called the DC Mini. It allows a person to access another person’s dreams and be able to record it and watch it afterwards. Its medicinal purpose aids patients with sleep disorders and mental illnesses by using lucid dreaming. At…

Vox Specto: Paprika and Inception →
voxspecto: Booktard had suggested how concepts in the film Inception were taken away from Paprika. I watched the two films again and the only evident similarity is the use of elevators to access levels of the subconscious and the concept of mind terrorism. There is no other visible similarity that will…

Personal Alchemy: Paprika (Satoshi Kon) →
bipedalcooney: One of the sickest movies I’ve ever seen is Paprika, directed by Satoshi Kon (the same guy that did Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers). Even if you’re not into anime, I recommend you watch it. Everything about this movie is beautiful, and I can guarantee it’s unlike anything you’ve seen…

Vox Specto: Aronofsky is Such a Liar →
voxspecto: *Warning: Spoilers if you haven’t watched Perfect Blue and Black Swan. I watched Perfect Blue again and oh my look what I have come up with: (Click image for a legible version) OMG, I’m taking this blog too seriously ‘cause I’m now working on excel. =_= I decided not to write a… Yeah, I’m not buying it, Aronofsky.  Thanks for making this comparison chart!
